I just throw in what ever veges I have or I buy a lot of root veges and use those..<br /><br />1.Matzo Ball Soup.. My kids love..<br />2. 6 table...Wild Rice Soup <br /><br />1 tablespoon minced onion<br />6 tablespoons butter, melted<br />2 cup flour<br />3 cups chicken broth<br />2 cups cooked wild rice<br />1/3 cup minced cooked ham, optional<br />2 cup finely chopped carrot<br />2 teaspoon salt<br />1 cup half and half<br />2 tablespoons dry sherry, optional<br />pepper<br /><br />Cook the wild rice. Saute the onion in the melted butter in a saucepan until tender. Stir in the flour and cook for several minutes. Add the chicken broth gradually. Bring to a boil and boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.<br />Add the wild rice, ham, carrot and salt. Cook just until heated through.
