For many people, my self included, white kitchens offer a clean, fresh, timeless, classic look. I know some detractors will say that white is boring. Yes, an all white kitchen may sound stark and cold, but it doesn't have to be. There are so many wonderful shades of white that can add a feeling of warmth to your walls and cabinets. photos Southern Accents & Coastal Living
I think that white is the least boring of colors. White makes any color that stands next to it look like a million dollars. That can't be said about any other color. Thanks for the pictures.
I have an all-white kitchen in my new older home and I love it. It looks clean and classic and, for those of us who live in the "north", it is light and airy in those long, dark winters! plus, very easy to change accessory colours.... P.S. LOVE your beautiful blog!!
My first -- and only -- all white kitchen was 49 square feet -- 7 feet by 7 feet. The cabinets and countertops were white Formica, from the floor to nearly the ceiling. I loved being able to put any color with the white -- but hated that every spill, every scratch, every stain stood out loud and clear! Now my kitchen is mostly stainless steel, and I love it.

ReplyDeleteLydia, I do know what you mean. I do love a white and stainless combination!

ReplyDeleteAll great photos. And I love white kitchens. Van Day Truex said that kitchens should only be white!
