I love Ron Marvin and am so glad you posted this video... makes sucha difference to see the space in a video vs just still images.
I have loved Ron Marvin since way back when he was a Met Home winner (back when Met Home was wroth reading.... sigh....): http://decorno.blogspot.com/2007/04/ron-marvins-studio-kicks-your.html
Ron sounds rueful about the loss of his zebra rug to some wine accident. Let's tell him to go on ebay... you can get fab brand new ones for only about $229.
Your blog is fantastic... I can't believe I didn't know about it before. Definitely adding you to my blog roll.
I love his term 'lamp tramp'...I can so relate.
ReplyDeleteHa! I love that phrase "lamp tramp," too!

I was unfamiliar with Ron Marvin. Where have I been?!? What a great video and I love his small space. I am all over the white and brown color combo.
ReplyDeleteI can relate to small spaces...my last house was 600sf, and this one's 900. It's all about tricks.
ReplyDeleteI think you are right Decorno...I would be rueful about the loss of the zebra rug...it was fab.
ReplyDeleteI've just learned of Ron myself Katiedid.
You're right fairfax, it's all about tricks. And Ron seems to know some good ones!
Great video and a great guy!
