Odd Balls

As I’ve mentioned before, I have a real weakness for beautiful and original stationery. For special occasions I love to use Odd Balls, known as the Best Little Paper Company in Arkansas. Odd Balls was established in 1992, the year before I was married. Several of my showers and wedding events were printed on their beautiful invitations, as was the invitation for our first Christmas party after our wedding.

For the past two years we have hosted Thanksgiving in Scotland and I always use Odd Balls for this occasion. I’ve posted a few of my favorite finds for yesterday. One is an obvious choice, but I think any of them would work. Thoughts?

  3. Thanks Anne and anonymous. I'm leaning towards the bottom one, but I think it looks a bit like a Christmas invite. Maybe a blue font would help.

  4. I kind of like the second one. A turkey always makes me think of Thanksgiving.

  5. I like the top one too, but husband doesn't think it looks like Thanksgiving.

The second one does seem very fitting HC...

  10. Number two! It has a real Thanksgiving feel. I'd love to find something like it in Australia.

  12. yep, # 2 is most definitely the most Thanksgiving themed. The others look more Christmasy to me. All are beautiful though, so you can't go wrong. Love them all!

  13. The last one feels too much like Christmas. The second one is gorgeous but it is so predictive.

I really enjoy the first one except for the choice of fonts. With the right font, color of text and message, you can make fit. Just make sure if it representative of the type of soirée you intend to throw. Thanksgiving is about the harvest season. Have you taught on using the Porch Steps (#3530)?
