A few months back I did a blog post on sheets and thread count that sparked much conversation and comments. Who knew sheets were such a hot topic. Just a few days ago I acquired a beautiful set of
SFERRA sheets. The sheets came wrapped in a ton tissue paper tucked inside a beautiful gray and red box. I have opted not to use the sheets until I get back home to Scotland. I’m afraid that I won’t be able to fold them back neatly enough to fit into my luggage. But I did slip the pillow cases on last night before bed. So soft and luxuiroius. Thus far I am impressed…I’ll keep you posted.
Someday, I will get those.
ReplyDeleteSferra is okay, but I would have expected you to choose the best.
ReplyDeleteSounds, divine. I love new sheets!
ReplyDeleteDear 2graces,

ReplyDeleteI just found your blog and I LOVE it!
ReplyDeleteI love the topic of sheets or any kind of wonderful bedding!!
ReplyDeletethank you thrilled by the thought...welcome!
ReplyDeleteme too sabina!
Matouk sheets are wonderful...as are their towels. For those lucky enough to be able to drive to Massachusetts they have a fabulous outlet store.
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing like white, clean, crisp bed linens!
ReplyDeleteI'll chime in here...last year for our 8 year wedding anniversary, I received a set of Anichini sheets from my husband of all people!! They are fabulous. I must give him credit for researching the 8 year "modern gift" - which is linen.
ReplyDeleteI do enjoy SFERRA, my daughter, thanks to her Gigi, has a lovely baby quilt that is hand smocked and embroidered - even softer today!
Ronda - do you plan on regularly ironing your new sheets?
Cheers
Heather
What Sferra sheets do you have? I love mine!! I have the a set of Giotto that I found for a great price at Elegant Linens. You can check them out at http://www.elegantlinenspc.com/Sferra-Bros.htm. I would really love to sleep on the 1000 thread count Milos sheets, but need to save up for those. Enjoy!!
