Inspiration

I am sitting at my desk playing catch up today, and daydream about restyling my space, when I should be working. I blame Cassandra, founder of Coco + Kelley, for my distraction. I have been so inspired by her posts the past few days, especially the desk of Melissa McElhatton Davis (below) it is simply wonderful!

I am working on several new profiles and will post again tomorrow. In the meantime you can savor theses beautiful photos.

Update: For those have asked about the notepad is it from iomoi and the candle is Diptyque’s Geranium Rosa.

  2. oh, that desk looks similar to main! check it here http://ilapko.com/irina/page/3/. but I don't have an inspiration board, wish I have room for it. instead there is a beautiful painting I so love to look at while taking a break from my sewing or embroidery :-)

  16. Yep, the Diptyque candle is Geranium Rosa and the elephant desk pad in the lucite holder is from iomoi (www.iomoi.com). I am so tickled that you guys like my work space! :)

  17. Ronda,
I love your blog. I have been looking for ideas on how to decorate my new home and so I've been searching the internet. I've found so many ideas that I have already used and that I am going to use. I love the collage of pretty inspirations that Melissa has on her desk and how she integrated the white fluffy chair with the straight edged bold look of the brown desk. While looking at the picture of the desk, I thought of something, tile stickers! You are probably thinking WHAT??--so let me explain lol! I recently downloaded some pictures of my art that I painted to a website, Sticviews.com, and I purchased some inexpensive tile stickers to decorate some of my kitchen tiles, kinda of a different and neat way to display my art. But I was thinking, why couldn't I use the same concept for my desk! I could stick my sticview stickers on my desk in a sort of collage of my own art and favorite things to look at, and then place a thin piece of glass over the surface so that I would have a smooth working surface! I am going to try that asap! Thanks for the inspiration Ronda!
