This is the last week to enter the All the Best Bedroom Contest. It's funny, you just never know which blog posts will appeal to readers. I got a phone call from my father over the weekend to say, "You need to post more bedrooms photos." Apparently he finds it interesting to see all the rooms and where they come from in the world. So dad, this post is for you. September 25, 2009 is the deadline.
Christopher Prain London, England
Darren Ransdell Los Angeles, California
Johanne Nadeau Québec, Canada
Zoe Settle, Connecticut

Love the rich gothic color on the wall in the 2nd pic!

I agree with your father. I'm hooked as well.
ReplyDeleteIt's also a great way to be introduced to different designers, although your readers who do not do this for a living are also very talented!

I love the windows in that last image. I would never get out of bed. Very pretty.
ReplyDeleteBrooke, I agree, lots of talent. It's been so much fun to see all the images. It was just too funny to get a call from my dad!
ReplyDeletePositively dreamy.... i would happily count sheep or draw sheep in any of those rooms.

You really have had some beautiful submissions! I am sure it is going to be hard to select a winner from all of these amazing bedrooms!!
ReplyDeleteThey are all divine and dreamy! How will you ever choose?
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful. There is something so very inviting about that first image, I would happily call that bed home! I cannot imagine having to select a winner, they are all so fabulous!
ReplyDeleteIt's going to be VERY difficult!!
ReplyDeleteRonda, I am having trouble even getting my bed made in the morning...LOL I will send you a photo though!!
ReplyDeleteRonda,
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing how we define our bedrooms so differently. But they all have a bed, lights, bedding, light, air, space and peacefulness. They should be called dream space.
I think they're wonderful weather your designing for a newborn to start, stage life (toddler - young adult), or mid lifers through elder they all represent feeling safe and secure in a tranquil space.
