Acorn Cottage: Before and After
Ask and you shall receive. After my post on interior designer Susan Anthony's Acorn Cottage, many of you left comments asking to see the before photos. Susan was so delighted by all of the wonderful comments that she graciously agreed to share the before photos. Thank you Susan. Enjoy the photo tour.

wow this is a lovely transformation, really well done!
What wonderful vision. Thank you Susan and Ronda! Susan
It's perfection!
What an amazing transformation... I'm soo drooling over that bed in the last pic: the headboard with what looks like Belgian-linen combined with the delicate Louis XV feet. Gorgeous combo!

We all love before and afters, and these certainly don't disappoint! Great imagination and design. Loved the pics.
Lovely! Ahh, to have a basement that looks that beautiful.
Beautiful!
I love before and after pictures - these are amazing!!!!
Wow. What a fantastic transformation. I'm going to think of this post when we go to look at a house that just appeared on the market this weekend. I think it will be a similar situation of liking the yard much better than the house in it's original form! Thanks for sharing the befores and afters. Absolutely beautiful work.
I love the bathroom transformation, beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
It is inspiring to see what can be done with a blank canvas. Beautiful home!

The garden reminds me of Oscar Niemeyer's house in the Rio de Janeiro mountains (AD Magazine last month). Beautiful property, great sense of style.
Ronda,
I have a question, did Susan have any "hand holding" during this or any moments of "crying on the floor" - it would be helpful to know as we will soon be taking on a major project. What kept her focusing on the "after?"

Wow , what a chic re-do. I am in love with the upholstered chairs in the living room.... Is there a chance she would pass on who makes them? Love them!
Hi Ronda~
It too easy to forget how much work goes into such beautiful rooms. A before picture is worth way more than a 1,000 words!
Love this lady's style.
Thanks for posting all the pictures.

What a masterful conversion. How about the new entry hall gleaned from the basement space? Holy crow. Pure vision. Oh, and Susan's "stuff" aint so bad either.
Thanks for the before and afts.

Everything looks so fantastic now, Susan Anthony is an amazing designer!
love the patio!!! my backyard is probably not even half the size of that one but it's still great inspiration!
Wow, what a peaceful zen.
I'm in need of inspiration these days and that bathroom and bedroom alcove are exactly what I need. Now, I'm happy.
Oh wow I think that all of those are some of the absolute best before and afters I have ever seen! Fabulous! Thanks for sharing doll!
Ronda,
How have I missed this? A friend just directed me to your site. What an awesome addition for the design community (and beyond!) I'll visit frequently!
