Off to New York for Thanksgiving

We are off to New York for Thanksgiving. I have always wanted to spend this wonderfully American holiday in the Big Apple. As a child I longed to watch the parade from a window just like Susan Walker (Natalie Wood).

This is our first Thanksgiving in the States since moving to Scotland and we are very much looking forward to being with great friends. Enjoy the beautiful images from Gourmet.

Thanks BTC! You know it's funny, I just said to my husband that I love these images, but nothing in them is really my personal style. Still they are striking!

Have a great time in the US for the Holiday Ronda. Many of my family will be here in Kansas City for Thanksgiving. Oh, and I do like the turquoise as well!

There truly is no place like New York for the Holidays!
The city really has so much to offer and awakens the spirit! I know you will have an amazing time and share "all the best!"

Lovely photos! The colors are stunning. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving - I've always dreamt of spending the day in NYC, too, and watching the parade from a window.

It's definitely on my bucket list. ;)
