Oh my goodness - thank you! Your blog has been an inspiration and a delight to me - I am grateful. When one of my dearest childhood friends was a teenager (in the 1976!) and she was miraculously able to able to recover from a life threatening eating disorder - I have never forgotten. This beautiful pendant symbolizes all that awareness, prayers and the appropriate medical attention can provide. Thank you, Rhonda and all the best to you and to Elizabeth Showers!
The eating disorder awareness blog and give-away -- we all need to be more conscious of the hidden messages we send out. To honor one's body--the food we eat, the visual messages we connect to, the cessation of constant self-judgement, our value systems all need to reflect the importance each individual has in this world. Thanks for highlighting the tragedy of eating disorders.
