The weather today is a pretty miserable, even by Scottish standards. However, it's the perfect day for putzing around the house and catching up on 'research' and reading. I have spent a good deal of the afternoon going through the portfolio of Eric Cohler Design. The infusion of traditional forms with an unexpected mix of contemporary design is brilliant. I especially love the tablescapes and placement of artwork. Enjoy the photos.

Very nice. The mix between traditional/contemporary is very appealing to the eye. I love the staircase. Clean and stunning at the same time.
I love the David Hick's runner on the staircase!
I can picture myself in that cozy sitting room, leafing through a magazine or dreamily staring out the window at the rain. Love any space with art filled walls!
There is a clean and elegant aesthetic to Eric's work.
I love that staircase with all the frames. I could see myself "straightening" them to perfect alignment...unless they have velcro on the back.

A great eye, that's for sure. Love these. Especially the stair runner and art wall...just lovely.
