A Wonderful Weekend

First let me apologize for the lack of posts. It's been a whirlwind of a week. Thankfully my wonderful friend Melissa Morris and her sweet husband Chappy invited me to Connecticut for the weekend to recharge. Mel, Chappy and the adorable Monty Morris were wonderful. They hosted a lovely dinner party on Saturday, followed by a private tour of Philip Johnson's Glasshouse on Sunday.

It was a perfect autumn day for touring and catching up with friends. You can see more photos on Mel's blog. Tonight is the NYC All the Best SFERRA party and it looks to be another great turnout. Photos to follow.

Oh, you got to meet MONTY and MEL! I wish I could make the event tonight, but I was in the city last night- I told Todd to tell you I was sorry to miss this evening. I know it will be wonderful!

Too wonderful. What a sweet dog, and I am facinated by the architecture in the first image. How nice to be able to 'recharge' in that environment with lovely friends. Enjoy your night!

Thanks for posting the wonderful garden photos and of Monty. Being an East Coast transplant, my soul needs to visit beautiful gardens like these. Good luck with the next party.

How fabulous was the Glass House Tour? Did it live up to your expectations?

It is on my list of homes to see in my lifetime. I am
sooooo jealous!

Ronda,

First of all I'm a huge fan of your blog! It's a fun escape from my busy days as the mom of five little ones. Also, I live in New Canaan and really enjoyed seeing photos of the glass house. I've yet to take the tour so it was a lovely little peek into something I drive by everyday but have never seen. Thanks!
