A Lynn von Kersting Christmas

[Images removed at the request of Darra Baker]

I have posted before regarding my love for Lynn von Kersting's design talent. Mrs. Blanding's recently did a post with photos of von Kersting's home and it reminded me that I had these Christmas photos tucked away in one of my many binders. Enjoy.

I receive more emails and hits to my blog regarding designer Lynn Von Kersting than any other topic or designer. Perhaps it's because so little is published about the California based designer. If you have done a google search, then you know what I'm talking about.

As I was sorting through my files and tear sheets this weekend I came across her work in a past issue of Traditional Homes. If you find more of her work, please let me know. You can also order her book La Strada della Dolce Vita via her shop, Indigo Seas, in Los Angeles (310) 550-8758. The cost of the book is $68 and is more of a lavish stylebook than a decorating book, but beautiful nonetheless.

Lynn Von Kersting

[Images removed at the request of Darra Baker]

One designer I like and see work from time to time is California based designer Lynn Von Kersting. Her home has been featured in a couple of Chris Madden’s books, but there is little information about her on the web. At one time she owned (and perhaps still does) Indigo Seas in Los Angeles. I believe she and her husband also own The Ivy in L.A. If you have more information about her work or other photos, I’d love to hear from you.
