I was introduced to the Royalton years ago when all the staff wore Chairman Mao type outfits.... Whenever I am in New York I always have to have at least a cocktail there. Love, love, love the new decor and the feel of the place. It never disappoints.

I love a sleek, cool space when in a vibrant city. Helps me sleep after a long day on the pavement! Great shots!

I always feel that to go away and stay somewhere other than your home it should be special. This hotel is definitely special!!!

I am with you on checking the bathroom first in Hotels as I have a passion for well designed ones, and toiletries...I confess to have a collection of hundreds beautiful mini soap bars with Hotel's names (it is like a diary of my trips) and surely this one did not disappoint.
Great post, it was like being with you and Mr. Smith checking in.

Meg I could not agree more!

BHD - I do the same thing! I have several apothecary jars in my bathroom filled with mini soap bars from my travels.

Ronda,
I could easily withdraw in that bathroom, I would bring my art supplies and paint away.
Really - you should write a novel, I wanted to read more. It had suspense, allure, and the way I felt as if I were behind you. Great review.

Oh so that is the amazing bathtub we saw with you, Tobi Fairly, Michael Devine and Thomas Burak in an earlier post.

Now that is luxury. Wow! It's all I can say...

I have been reading All the Best for a short while, but haven't yet commented. However, I must break my silence and comment! Normally, I skim a Mr. & Mrs. Smith review to savor the pictures. However, your review sucked me and I was sad when it was over. I love how you tell the story and share the experience step by step(on all of your posts really). Domo arigato gozimashta!

P.S. What frock did you get? Pictures!
